One Minute Brush

Everyone probably heard the phrase that you should brush your teeth for at least a minute, but can you get your teeth clean within that time ? Challenge yourself to get all teeth cleaned in time! How far can you get ?

Inspiration

This game came to mind, as you might imagine, while I was brushing my teeth. I wanted to challenge myself and make a game out of a normal daily activity. I leaned onto arcade principles with a tight loop and indefinite difficulty scaling. Which gives opportunity to challenge yourself to get even the most dirty teeth clean within one minute.

Purpose

This game was created for 'Expressive Game Design (2022/23)' at Goldsmiths University. This is a 3rd year module, which is teaches about Design Principles and ideas and has been one of three different prototypes developed during the term.

How to play

Simply start the game from the menu and hold the left button to put your brush down. Keep moving the toothbrush over the dirty teeth to clean them up. Once you have cleaned all teeth, the next level will start. To which level can you get ?
